When she got married, she completed her masters in history and started teaching in college for about 5 years. She was affectionate of cooking but never felt of taking it up as a profession. Her actual fervor for cooking extended some years after she became married. She always looks forward to create any new dishes and she is passionate about her cooking career. Kaukab khuwaja initiated her TV career in 1990. Nowadays she is a prominent part of Masala channel through cooking program called “Kokab’s Cuisine.” Besides doing cooking shows she also comes into view in several talk shows and radio programs.
Kaukab khuwaja gained knowledge of the art of cooking Chinese cuisine from China in an institute. In the same way she learnt certified cooking from Thailand and Turkey. She also learnt flower arrangement from Japan. Kokab is a social campaigner and a writer as well; she wrote 20 books including a travelogue. She is also a Reiki healer and uses the method for physical and mental disorders.
