Recipe Ingredients
Butter 4tbsp
Chopped onion 1
Corn 250g
Separated eggs 3
Chopped green chilies 2
Salt as required
Black pepper powder 1/4tsp
Flour 2tbsp
Recipe Method
Coat the bottom and sides of a round souffle dish with butter. Sprinkle flour on top and keep aside
Melt the butter in a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until tender, about 3 minutes.
In a blender blend the sauté onions, then add the egg yolks,250g corn and blend to a paste.
Add salt and 2 chopped green chilies-blend again
In a separate bowl beat the egg whites until fluffy. Very carefully fold the egg whites into the corn mixture. Pour the mixture into the buttered souffle dish.
Bake for 20minutes at 190C. Remove from the oven and serve
