Cheese Wontons Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

Cheddar Cheese (grated) 1 cup
Mozzarella Cheese (grated) 1 cup
Cottage Cheese (crumbled) 1/2 cup
Fresh coriander (finely chopped) 1/4 cup
Eggs (beaten) 2
Black Pepper (freshly grounded) 2 tsp
Wonton Wrappers (available in the market) 16-18
Oil for frying

Recipe Method

In a bowl combine the cheeses, black pepper and coriander leaves.
Then add 1, 1/2 egg (save half of 1 egg for sealing wontons) and mix well.
Lightly flour a cutting board before making each wonton, place one at a time.
Brush the edges with egg and spoon a little filling in the center; pull the top corner down to the bottom corner.
It will make a triangle. Heat oil in deep frying pan and deep fry the wontons for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
