Shahi Paneer Kofta Curry (Cottage Cheese)

Ingredients:

Paneer (grated) 1 Big cup
salt to taste
pepper powder ¼ tsp
cardamom powder ¼ tsp
All purpose flour 1 tsp
Khoya 4 tbsp
Pistachio 6 Number
Raisins 6 Number
Almonds 6 Number
Oil for deep fry
Onions (chopped) ½ cup
Ginger garlic Paste 1 tsp
Green chilli Paste 1 tsp
chilli powder 1 tsp
Nutmeg powder Pinch
Curd (beaten) 1 cup
Cashew nut Paste 2 tsp
Tomato puree ½ cup
Sugar Pinch
Cream ½ cup

Preparation Method:

1. Take a bowl add grated paneer, salt, pepper powder, cardamom powder, All purpose flour and mix it well like a soft dough and make them into balls.
2. Take another bowl and add khoya, Pistachio, raisins, almonds and mix it like a dough, then make them into small balls.
3. Now stuff the khoya balls into paneer balls and then make them into koftas.
4. Deep fry the koftas till they get a nice golden color. For the gravy:
1. Heat the oil in a pan, add chopped onions, salt and cook they are golden in color.
2. Add ginger garlic Paste, green chilli Paste, chilli powder, nutmeg powder and by adding some water cook it for a minute.
3. Now add curd, khoya, cashew nut Paste, tomato puree and mix, then by adding water cook the gravy for 20 mins on low flame, add pinch of sugar, cream and mix well
4. Finally add fried koftas and Serve this with naan, paratha, romali roti.

[as these paneer koftas are delicate dont put it in gravy for long just add them to gravy before serving hot]
