INGREDIENTS
For Marination
Onion: 1 no.
Ginger: 1 tsp.
Fresh & Soaked Red Chill: 3-4 nos.
Crushed Garlic : 1 tsp.
Tamarind Paste : 2 tsp.
Salt : to taste
Worcestershire Sauce : 2 tsp.
Cilantro : few
Spring Onion: 1 no.
Fish Basa : 2 nos.
For Sauce
Celery : 1 no.
Shallots: 4 nos.
Soaked & Deseed Red Chillies: 3 nos.
Garlic: 1 tbsp.
Oil: 1 tbsp.
Ginger: 1 tsp.
Tamarind Paste: 1 ½ tbsp.
Worcestershire Sauce: 1 tbsp.
Soya Sauce: 1 tbsp.
Honey: 1 tsp.
Fish Sauce: 1 tsp.
Spring Onion : 2 -3 nos.
Banana Stem : 1 no.
For Garnish
Coriander Leaves
Red Chilli
PROCESS
For marination, chop the onion, ginger, fresh & soaked red chillies, garlic & add it in a blender.
Now add tamarind paste, salt, worcestershire sauce & grind it.
Now marinate the fish with prepared marination masala.
Place the marinated fish, cilantro, spring onion & fish on banana leaf & wrap it.
Keep the wrapped fish in a steamer to steam.
For sauce, in a pan, add oil, chopped ginger, garlic, shallots soaked & deseed red chillies, celery, tamarind paste, worcestershire sauce, honey, fish sauce & mix well.
Now put the spring onions & chopped banana stem in a steamer to steam.
Serve the fish with steamed onion & banana stem & sauce
Garnish the dish with coriander leaves & red chilli.
Your Steamed Korean Fish is ready.
