INGREDIENTS
For Dough
1 cup Blanched Almonds
1-2 tsp Lemon Rind
1-2 tsp Rose Water
1-2 tbsp Icing Sugar
2nos Eggs
For The Syrup
5-6 tbsp Sugar
As required Water
For Greasing
Olive Oil
To Brush
Beaten eggs
To Garnish
Icing Sugar
PROCESS
In a blender grind blanched almonds and put the mixture in a bowl and add lemon rind, rose water, icing sugar and beaten eggs and prepare a dough also make small balls from the dough.
Meanwhile in a pan prepare a syrup with sugar and water.
Now grease the baking tray with olive oil and put the dough balls on it and apply egg wash and almonds on it and bake it at 160-170 degree C for 5-6 minutes.
Then dip the cookies in sugar syrup.
Garnish the prepared cookies with icing sugar.
Your Algerian Almond Cookies are ready.
