MEATBALLS PULAO RECIPE,,



For the meatballs
◦1.5 lbs minced meat (beef,mutton or chicken)
◦1 tablespoon garlic
◦2 tablespoons ginger
◦1 teaspoon garam masala
◦2 tablespoons Fresh coriander
◦2 medium sized green chilies crushed
◦1 teaspoon powdered red pepper
◦1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
◦1 egg white
◦salt to taste
For the rice
◦2 cup Basmati rice soaked for 20 mins
◦1 medium sized onion,sliced
◦1/4 cup oil
*1 tomato
* 1 potato (cut cubes)
◦1 tablespoon ginger
◦1 tablespoon garlic
◦1 teaspoon black peppercorn
◦1/2 cup yogurt
METHOD
1.Mix all the ingredients mentioned for meatballs well and shape the meat into small meatballs.
2.In a large pot heat oil, and fry onion until golden brown.You may reduce the amount of oil after the onions are golden brown.
3.Add tomato black peppercorn,garlic and ginger paste and Sauté for 3 to 4 minutes.
4.Add yogurt and salt and fry for a three to minutes and then add meatballs and potato one at a time.Once all the meatballs are in the pot,fry these for around 10 to 12 mins or until firm.
5.Add previously soaked and drained rice and 3 cups of warm water,keep it on high heat, when most of the water is absorbed by rice, cover and cook for another 15 mins to steam the rice.
6.Serve warm with Raita.
