Pakistan Cricket team visits Peshawar to meet Army Public School students

Members of the national cricket Team, including team captain Misbahul Haq and Boom Boom Shahid Afridi, on Saturday went by kids who were harmed amid the destroying assault on the Army Public School in Peshawar.

Misbah said gathering with understudies who survived the assault — the deadliest in Pakistan's history — had given the cricketers huge enormous courage in front of next month from now's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

"It was an incredible feeling," Misbah told AFP. "The children provided for us huge valor and wished the best for us in the advancing World Cup."

He included: "The best part is that these children have rejoined the school and their soul is an empowering sign for the players, which is to never surrender, whatever you do. What's more with this inspiration, we will attempt to win the World Cup."

Further, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has given Rs7.5 million to the school.

The players, who were joined by PCB authorities, touched base at the Corps Headquarters (HQ) in Peshawar and met with folks of the harmed kids at the Combined Military Hospital.
