For a while now the Humera Arshad and her husband have been in denial mode. However, they now confirm that the beautiful couple is indeed ending their marriage...
It was a love story like no other. Humera Arshad and Ahmed Butt fell in love when they first met at LUX style awards and then chose the road to happily ever after when they got married, a 12-year-long relationship cemented by one son. Unfortunately, it is now over.
After months of speculation in a statement to the media Humera Arshad confirmed the news of her separation from husband Ahmed Butt.
The singer said:
"Ahmed aur uske bhai Aqeel Butt ko buhat dafa ghalat kamo me mulawas pakra hai lakin apni izzat ki khatir khamosh rahi hoon. Ahmed ke kai larkiyo se taluqat hain jab bhi me ne usko mana kiya to us ne darjano bar mujh per tashdud (beaten) kiya, aur ye bhi dhamki di hai ke me tumhare muon (face) per tezab phenk don ga. chand roz pehle wo humare bete ko apni maa (mother) ke ghar le gaya aur char din waha rakha. Ab Ahmed ka mutalba hai ke me usko teen (3) caroor rupe doon, Lakin ab mein Ahmed ki kisi black mailing mein nahi aao gi balke har qisam ke halat ke muqable ke liye tayar hoon. Ab hamare raste mukamal tor per juda hain or ab hum kisi tarha ikhte nahi reh sakte."
On the other hand, yesterday Ahmed Butt announced a press conference in press club but later he posponed it. He said I will take next step with my lawyer advice and If Humera wants divorec she should filed divorce papers to court.
The media circuit had been abuzz with rumours about serious problems in the couple’s relationship for a while now. Apparently the two had started living separately a few months ago and avoided public appearances together.
The real reasons for this separation is known best to only the people involved. But with one small kid to consider, we hope everything stays amiable and peaceful.Humera Arshad confirms separation from husband Ahmed Ali Butt.
