Dum puktht chicken



Ingredients
Chicken 1 kg (made into 4 tikka pieces)
White vinegar ¼ cup
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Yogurt 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp heaped
Green chilies 6 (ground) or less according to taste
Chili powder 2 tsp or to taste
Coriander and Cumin seeds dry roasted and crushed 2tsp
Coriander and cumin powder 2 tsp
Prunes or dry plums a hand full
Oil ½ cup

Directions
1. Give cuts on pieces, marinate with vinegar and salt for 4 hours.
Discard the water which comes out, deep fry chicken pieces for 10 minutes.
I didn't fry instead I steamed the chicken pieces.
2. Mix yogurt with ginger garlic paste, ground green chilies, salt 1 tsp, chili powder, coriander powder and cumin.
3. Mix well and add this mixture u
in a wok with half cup oil add in the fried/ steamed chicken.
4. Cook on low flame, covered with the lid.
* you can bake it in oven too.
Until oil comes on top.
Add the soaked dry plum or prunes and give simmer of coal.
Delicious Dum Pukht Chicken is ready to serve.
