KACHRI KEEMA



Ingredients
Mutton/beef/chicken Mince 1/2 kg
Fried and crushed onions 1/2 cup
Yoghurt 1 cup
Dry Mango/ Kachri powder/ Amchoor 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 1-1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
Green cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Roasted and crushed poppy seeds 1 tbsp
Roasted and crushed almonds 10
Desiccated coconut 1 tbsp ( optional )

Method
- in a bowl mix yoghurt with all above ingredients.
- now add keema, mix well and marinate for at least 4 hours.
- in a pan heat 2-3 tbsp oil, add marinated keema, cover and cook on medium heat till keema is done and oil comes out.
- stir fry well and put on coal dum for about 5-7 minutes. ( heat a piece of coal on flame till it becomes red hot, put it carefully on a piece of onion slice in the pan on top of keema, pour a tsp of oil on coal and immediately cover )
- garnish with chopped green chilies, coriander, mint and Julianne ginger.
- serve with mint chutney, onion slices and Naan.
