Hyderabadi mutton



Ingredients
Mutton 750 gm
Raw papaya 1 tbsp heaped
Yogurt 1 cup
Tomato paste 2 tbsp
Whole spices mixed 1 tbsp
Brown onion ½ cup (crushed)
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Salt 1 ½ tsp
Chili powder 2 tsp heaped
Turmeric ½ tsp
White cumin ½ tsp (roasted and crushed)
Allspice 1 tsp
Orange color pinch
Mint leaves ½ cup (chopped)
Curry leaves handful
Green chilies 6
Oil ½ cup
Method
Marinate mutton with raw papaya, yogurt, tomato paste, whole spices mixed, brown onion, ginger garlic paste, salt, chili powder, turmeric, white cumin, allspice, orange color and mint leaves for 4 hours.
Heat oil add green chilies and curry leaves and slightly fry.
Add marinated mutton, cover and cook for 20 minutes.
If required add water.
Cook until done, serve with nan
