Daal mash with chicken:



Ingredients
1 lb chicken
1 cup daal mash
1 onion
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
2-3 green chilies
Green coriander
1/2 tsp haldi
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp red chili flakes
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds powder
1/2 tsp dry coriander powder
Ginger slices
1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
1/2 cup oil
1 tomato
1/2 tsp graham masala
Method
Soak the daal for at least 1 hour.
Wash chicken and put in a pot with water and salt. Make a broth. Boil for 5-10 minutes.Remove chicken and break into small pieces. Keep aside. In a pot, add oil and onions until they turn a light pink. Add ginger garlic paste and tomatoes. Also, one green chili. Add all masalas. Add a bit if water, wait for tenderness. Fry well, until water separates. Add chicken pieces and fry. Add the soaked daal after spilling the water. Mix this with the broth. Keep on medium to low heat. Until, the daal is tender. The oil should be separate. Turn off the stove and cover the pot. Dish out after a while. Garnish with gharam masala and all other preferred ingredients. Serve with Naan or roti. Enjoy!!!
