Chinese Style Black Pepper Chicken



Ingredients
1-Boneless chicken 1/2 kg(cut into 1/2 inch dices)
2-Corn flour 3 tbsp (for sprinkle)
3-Onions 3 medium (cut into medium size cubes)
4-Capsicum (optional) 1 (cut into small cubes)
5-Garlic 1 tsp (chopped)
6-Oil for frying as required
7-Oil for gravy 2 tbsp
For Sauce:
1-Oyster sauce 4 tbsp
2-Vinegar 1/2 tsp
3-Soya sauce 1 tbsp
4-Black pepper 1 tsp (freshly crushed)
5- sugar 1 tbsp
6-Salt 1/2 tsp
Method
1-Mix well all the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
2-Mix cornflour and chicken and deep fry just for 2-3 minutes.
3-Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a wok, add onions and fry till half done.
4-Add garlic and sauce ingredients.
5-After a minute add fried chicken cubes.
6-Add capsicum and cook for another 2 minutes on high flame.
7-Serve hot with plain rice/fried rice.
