Tali Machli ka Salan



Ingredients
Fish ½ kg
Yogurt ½ cup
Salt 1 tsp
Turmeric ½ tsp
Cumin Seeds (roasted,crushed) 2 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tsp
Ingredients for Salan
Oil¼ cup
Fenugreek Seeds ¼ tsp
Mixed Whole Spice 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds ½ tsp
Onion (chopped) 1 cup
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tsp
Turmeric ¼ tsp
Cumin Seeds (roasted,crushed) 1 tsp
Coriander Powder 1 tsp
Chili Powder 1½ tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Yogurt 1 cup
Garam Masala ½ tsp
Green Chilies 2 whole
Coriander Leaves 2 tbsp
METHOD
Mix together yogurt, salt, turmeric, roasted and crushed cumin, ginger garlic. Marinate fish with all this for 30 mins. Pan fry till light golden on both the sides. Remove n keep aside.
METHOD FOR SALAN
Heat ¼ cup oil, add methi dana, whole spices, cumin seeds, chopped onion, ginger garlic, all the spices, fry well, add yogurt with ½ cup water, add in the fried fish, all spice powder green chili whole, leave it on dum, lastly add coriander leaves.
