Ingredients:
1.Moong daal/ yellow lentil 1 -1/2 cup.
2.Onion big 1 sliced.
3.Onion seeds/ Methi dana 1/2tsp.
4.Tomatoes 3 chopped.
5.Ginger garlic paste 1tsp.
6.Turmeric/ haldi 1/2tsp.
7.Red chillie powder1tsp.
8.Cumin powder/ zeera 1tsp.
9.All spice powder/ garam masala 1/2 tsp
10.Green chillies 2-3
11.Oil 1/2cup.
12-Coriander leaves/ hara dhanya and chopped green chillies for garnishing.
13-Kasuri meethi 1/2 tsp
Method:
1.Wash and soak the daal for 10-15 minutes.
2.Fry sliced onion till golden and add methi daana and ginger garlic paste and fry a while.i
3.Then add chopped tomatoes ,tumeric, salt,Kasuri methi ,red chilli powder,cumin powder in it .
4.Cook till the oils seperates from the curry.
5-Add the soaked daal and very little water.
6.Add green chillies and cover with a lid,cook on low flame until done.
7.Garnish with corriender leaves and chopped green chillies.
8.Serve hot with chapati/ paratha/ naan.
