Chicken Sajji


Ingredients:
Chicken (with skin) 1
Lemon juice 1/4 cup
Salt 2 tbsp heaped
Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
Vinegar 3/4 cup
Meat tenderizer 1 tsp
Chat masala as required

Method:
In large pan fill water and add chicken. Leave it for 1 hour. Then add lemon juice, salt, ginger garlic paste and vinegar to it. Again leave for 1 hour. After half an hour add meat tenderizer and leave the chicken for another 15 minutes. Then remove chicken from water and bake in a preheated oven for 1 hour. Sprinkle the chicken with chat masala and lemon juice.

Recipe Ingredients

Whole chicken 1
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
White vinegar 1 cup
Lemon juice ½ cup
All spice 1 tbsp
Oil /clarified butter 2 – 3 tbsp
Salt to taste
For Garnish:
Salad leaves 4 – 5
Onion 1
Tomato to taste

Recipe Method

Mix together the vinegar and salt in a mixing bowl.
Now coat the chicken well with this mixture and marinate for two hours.
Checking after regular intervals that the chicken is coated well with the marinade.
In the meantime take a bowl and add the ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, salt, oil/clarified butter and all spice.
Marinate the chicken with this mixture.
Preheat the oven at 200C and bake the chicken for 30 – 35 minutes.
Serve the chicken in a platter and garnish with lettuce, onion rings and tomato slices.
