Recipe Ingredients
Flour ½ kg
Clarified Butter ½ cup
Yogurt ½ cup
Yeast 1 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp
Lukewarm milk as required
For Filling:
Onion 1 (chopped)
Green chilies 2 (chopped)
Butter 3 tbsp
Cheese 1 ½ cup
Garlic 1 tsp (chopped)
Salt ½ tsp
Cumin seeds 2 tsp
Recipe Method
Mix together flour, clarified Butter, yogurt, yeast, salt and knead to medium soft dough with lukewarm milk as required.
For filling:
In a bowl mix together cheese, chopped onion, chopped green chilies, chopped garlic, cumin seeds and salt.
Mix well and keep aside.
Now heat butter in a pan, add filling mixture and cook for 2 minutes.
Make two tortillas of dough, put filling mixture on one tortilla, top with second and seal well.
Make marks on it using fingers.
Bake in a preheated oven of 200 degrees for 10 minutes.
Lastly spread butter and serve hot.
