Recipe Ingredients
Chickpeas 1 cup
Red lentil 2 tbsp
Red chili ½ tbsp (powder)
Potatoes 2
Onion 1
Salt as required
Tomatoes 2
Sweet soda 1 tsp
Garam masala few
Tamarind paste 1 cup
Sonth 2 tbsp
Cumin ½ tbsp (white)
Black salt pinch
Recipe Method
First wash chickpeas thoroughly.
Now place them on stove with sufficient water to cook and stir with the help of wooden spoon.
When it becomes soft, add soda powder, red chilli and salt.
Cut potato in cubes and add it to pan.
Cook till the potato cubes are tender.
Now add cumin, sonth, and tamarind paste with slight cold water, then add salt and black salt.
Serve it with tomato, onion and tamarind chutney.
