Recipe Ingredients
Fish 1 kg
Rice water1 tbsp
Water4 cup
Rice flour2 tbsp
Gram flour1 cup
Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp
Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
All spice powder1 tbsp
Carom seeds½ tsp
Turmeric1 tsp
Lemons 4-6
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Recipe Method
Marinate fish with white vinegar and keep it for 10 minutes and wash it. Boil 1 tbsp rice in 4 cups of water. In fish add in 1 tsp turmeric, lemon juice and rice water. In a bowl add in gram flour, 2 tbsp rice flour, 1 tsp roasted cumin powder, 1 tbsp red chili flakes, 1 tbsp all spice powder, ½ tsp carom seeds, 1 tsp turmeric and some salt. Mix it. Coat the fish pieces in the batter and deep fry them till they are golden brown. Once fried sprinkle some gram flour on it. Serve hot.
