Creamy Corn And Spinach



INGREDIENTS
Butter 3 tbsps
Whole wheat flour 1 tbsp
Milk ½ cup
Chopped garlic 2 tsps
Spinach Leaves, chopped 1 bunch
American corns, blanched ½ cup
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
For Garnishing
Garlic Bread
PROCESS
For white sauce, heat 1 tablespoon butter in a non-stick pan, once the butter melts, add refined flour to it and mix well till light brown.
Add the milk to the mixture and whisk till the mixture is lumpfree. Remove from flame and keep aside. Put 1 tbsp butter on top of the white sauce to avoid film formation.
Heat remaining butter in a non-stick pan, add garlic and sauté till golden brown.Add spinach and sauté for a minute. Add corn kernels, mix and sauté for two to three minutes.
Add spinach mixture into white sauce and mix well. Add salt and mix well.
Add crushed balck peppercorns and mix well and cook till it thickens.
Transfer the mixture into a serving bowl.
Serve hot with garlic Bread.
