Veg Haleem



INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp ghee
2 onions
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
1 tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
½ tsp cinnamon powder
1 cup soaked and ground soya nuggets
2 ½ tbsp soaked broken wheat
½ cup soaked barley
1 cup curd
3 tbsp almond powder
Clove powder a pinch
2 tsp kashmiri mirch powder
2 tbsp chopped mint
2 tbsp chopped coriander
1 lemon juice
For garnish

2 tbsp fried onions
1 sprig coriander

PROCESS
Finely chop onions.
Heat oil and ghee on a pan. Add chopped garlic, chopped onions, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, cinnamon powder and mix well.
Now add soaked and ground soya nuggets, soaked broken wheat and soaked barley. Cover the pan and let it cook.
Once cooked remove lid of the pan. Now add curd, almond powder, clove powder, kashmiri mirch powder, finely chopped mint, finely chopped coriander, lemon juice and mix well.
Remove Veg Haleem in a bowl.
Garnish with fried onions and coriander.
