Orange Chiffon



Ingredients

Oranges 4
Gelatin Powder 2 tbsp
Sugar 1 cup
Icing Sugar 2 tbsp
Water ½ cup
Egg Whites 2
Fresh Cream 2 cups


Directions

Squeeze fresh orange juice from 3 oranges. Also, peel an orange and cut it in thin slices or chunks.
Separately, add sugar in a pan of water and cook for 10-12 minutes until it becomes a thick syrup.
Take 2 tbsp warm water and cook gelatin on double boiler. Add it to sugar syrup and keep aside to cool.
Beat egg whites until stiff in a clean dry bowl. Then, beat the gelatin mixture with a layer of ice and add a cup of orange juice. Mix it all with the egg whites.
Pour the egg mixture in a bowl lined with orange slices or chunks. Refrigerate.
Refrigerate the cream with icing sugar then beat it in a cool place.
Pour it over orange chiffon and decorate it with orange chunks.
