Medjool Dates
Figs - Mixture of Dry & Fresh
Almonds
Pistachio Nuts
Cashew Nuts
Walnuts
Hazelnuts
Macadamia Nuts
Brazil Nuts
Runny Honey
Oil to grease
Note: There is NO strict measures.... completely personal preference but as a rough estimate, 1 Cup Dates, 1 Cup figs, 2 Cups Nuts, 2 tablespoon honey
METHOD
1. Remove stones from Medjool dates & cut figs
2. Grind both in a food processor with fresh runny honey to a thick paste
3. Break Almonds, Pistachio nuts, Cashew nuts, Walnuts, Hazelnuts, Macadamia nuts, Brazil nuts into big chunks
4. Add the nuts to the paste
5. Lightly oil a metal tray
6. Spread mixture on the tray and level with a spatula
7. Freeze for 4-6 hours
8. Remove once frozen and cut straight away into desired shapes... I prefer squares, you can do diamonds etc and remove with the help spatula —
