Dum Pakht Fish



Ingredients
Fish 1/2 kg sliced.. Wash and apply sea salt leave it for half hour and than again wash, keep it in colander to remove excess water..
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Onion fried 3 tbsp
Yogurt 3 tbsp heaped
Red chilli powder 1 tsp or to taste
Salt 1 tsp level or to taste
Cumin whole 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder 1/4 tsp
Oil as required
Fresh coriander for garnishing

Method
In blender add yogurt, fried onion, salt, red Chili powder, garam masala powder, cumin seeds and cumin powder along with 1 cup water and blend..
In pot add oil.. When it gets hot add ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder dry for few mins.. Than add fish and blended masala 1/2 cup water and gently mix.. Cover and cook on low flame.. ( on dam).. After 15 mins turn the side of fish gently and again cover and cook on low flame until gravy is thick, fish is done and oil is separated from masala... Adjust seasoning to taste..
