Bollywood actor Salman Khan was recently quizzed about his plans to wed, to which he replied that marriages seldom last for a lifetime.
Salman Khan has to be the most eligible bachelor in town. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan star has ruled the hearts of women ever since he made his debut in the Indian film industry and has still not ceased to swoon the ladies, even at almost 50 years of age. Salman has had his fair share of girlfriends over the years, from dating Aishwarya Rai to Katrina Kaif (and many more) yet still, he hasn’t found the right one as of yet.
Conducting a press conference for his upcoming show Bigg Boss, Salman Khan was recently asked about the prospects of marriage. A reporter at the press conference asked him when he would get double, to which Salman replied:-
“I have got double since “Maine Pyaar Kiya” and now I would turn triple for “Sultan”. “Marriage is not for the lifetime, in which generation are you living in…not happening.”
From the above statement, it seems like the Dabangg actor has lost faith in marriages and is not ready to marry anytime soon.
“You want me to get married temporary or permanent?” When a reporter retorted and advised Sallu mian not to tie the knot, he quipped, “Nice debate…some saying get married, some saying don’t get married. Are you all trying to convince me or demoralise me?”
Salman Khan will return to host Bigg Boss season 9, which premieres on television on 11th October. The actor had left the show after season 5 and was replaced by Farah Khan.
Will we ever see Salman tie the knot or will there be lots of girlfriends to come but no wife? The answer lies with no one but Salman himself!
