Ingredients
Chicken 1 kg
Salt to taste
Red chili powder 1 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
Onion fried and ground 4 tbsp
Fresh coriander 1/2 bunch
Green chili 4
Yogurt 5 tbsp heaped
Chicken powder 1 tsp
Biryani masla 1 tbsp any brand (optional)
Boiled eggs 3
Malka masoor boiled 1 cup
Yellow food colour pinch
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Kewra water 1 tbsp
2 1/2 cup rice washed, soaked and 1/2 boiled with salt and whole garam masala ( cumin seeds, clove, black pepper corn, cinnamon stick, aniseed , bay leaves ) add 1 tbsp of lemon juice while boiling
Oil 1/2 cup
Cooking Instructions
1, Boil malka masoor daal with little salt...
2, boil rice with salt and whole garam masala
3, boil eggs and sliced it. Use two for layering, and one for garnishing.
4, marinate chicken with red chili, salt, coriander powder, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, yogurt, green chili, chicken powder and fried onion for atleast 2 hours.
In big bottom pot add oil when it gets hot add some whole garam masala and marinated chicken fry on medium heat until chicken changes its colour.. Cover and cook for 10 mins.. Than add layer of masoor daal and layer of boiled sliced eggs and fresh coriander.. Add boiled rice sprinkle yellow food colour, kewra water and lemon juice., cover and cook it on high flame for 5 mins than give dam for 15 to 20 mins..
Mix it before serving... Garnish it with eggs and served with raita..
