Gulab Jamen
Ingredients

1 1/2 cup carnation milk
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
250 mL of whipping cream(35%)
3 cups sugar
2 1/2 cup water
3 to 4 elachi
almonds for garnishing
oil for frying.
Method
firstly mix the dry milk, flour and baking in bowl well. Then add the whipping cream to make a dough like substance. Boil water, sugar and lachi in pot. When sugar dissolves and is boiled, turn stove off. Take the dough an roll into equal sized small balls and set to deep fry. When they are medium brown take them out and put into sugar solution. Keep there for a few minutes until they fluff. Lastly, take out from syrup. Put the syrup aside .
Zarda
Ingredients

1/2 cup water
2 cups rice
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/2 lemon
Mix dry fruit
Elachi
Butter
Yellow food color
Few flakes zafran
Few drops rose water
Method
Boil soaked rice in yellow color water and don't cook fully
In seperate pot add left over syrup elachi butter milk lemon juice and cook it for a few minutes when it thickens then put semi cooked rice and leave it on full flame
Leave till water dries out. When it's dry and put the zafran flakes and add all the dry fruit on top
Put on low flame for 5-10 minutes
Take cover off so steam can come out
Then mix it and put small Gulab jamens on top and decorate with silver paper & Enjoy!!!
