Ingredients For Base
Plain Flour 1 ½ cup
Chilled Butter 4 oz
Egg yolk 1
Salt ½ tsp
Chilled Water to knead
Method For Filling:
Chicken Breast (cubes) 2
Onion (chopped) ½ cup
Garlic Paste 1 tsp
Black Pepper 1 tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Chicken Powder 1 tsp
Oregano 1 tsp
Paprika 1 tsp
Spinach (blanched) 2 cup
Ingredients For Egg Mixture
Egg 3
Cream ½ cup
Milk 1/4 cup
Cream Cheese 2 tbsp
Cheddar Cheese (grated) 1 cup
Paprika 1 tsp
Parsley( chopped) ½ tsp
Method
Mix salt with flour
Beat flour and soften butter till get creamy .
Add egg yolk and chilled water .
Now knead it with finger tips not like dough
Knead flour, rest for 15 min fridge, roll to a 9 inch round,
spread in a pie plate.prick it
Spread butter paper add beans for weight .bake blind till half done for 15 to 20 mins,
heat butter in a pan fry onion and garlic, till get soft n white
add chicken, cook for 5 mins,
with all the spices, add blanched spinach,
in another bowl, mix together eggs cream, cheese, paprika, milk and parsley, pour spinach mixture into a egg mixture,
pour in the prepared pastry,
sprinkle top with cheddar cheese bake for 20 – 25 mins on 150 D. serve hot.
