Recipe Ingredients
Butter 200 gram
Caster sugar 1 cup
Vanilla essence 1, 1/2 tsp
Eggs (whisked) 4
Flour 2 cup
Baking powder 1, 1/2 tsp
Salt a pinch
Asharfi 1/4 cup
Raisin 1/4 cup
Black currant 1/4 cup
Orange peel 1/2 tsp
Yellow food color a pinch
Lemon juice 1 tsp
Recipe Method
Preheat oven on 180 degree.
Mix butter and sugar well. And then add Vanilla essence and eggs.
Add flour, baking powder, lemon juice, orange peel, black currant, raisin, ashrafi, salt, food color to the mixture and fold with a rubber spatula.
Now grease 8 inch mold and pour the mixture into it. Sprinkle nuts on the top.
Now in preheated oven bake for 45 to 50 minutes on 180 degree.
When ready, leave to get cool and then serve with tea.
