Mash Ki Daal Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

300 grams Black Gram (Split)
1/2 cup Oil
1/2 tbsp Sliced ginger
100 grams Butter
6 Whole red chili
1 Sliced onion
1/2 tbsp Chopped garlic
6 Green chili
1 tsp Cumin powder
1/2 tsp Crushed black pepper
1/2 tsp White cumin seed
1/4 cup mint leaves
to taste Salt
1/4 cup Coriander

Recipe Method

Saute’ onion and add ginger and garlic.
Add Black Gram (Split).
In Black Gram (Split) add 4cups water, whole red chili, black pepper, and cumin, salt and let it cook.
When Black Gram (Split) is done and gets tender, in another pan golden brown onion in butter.
When brown, pour onion with butter on the Black Gram (Split).
Takeout in a platter,garnish with green chili, coriander, mint
Serve hot.
