Veggie Daal Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

1 cup split red lentil
1 onion, chopped
1 tbsp dried mango powder
1 chopped and boiled mixed vegetables
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tomato chopped
3 tbsps ghee
1/2 tsp chilli powder
to taste salt

Recipe Method

Pressure cook lentils with 2 cups of water.
Heat ghee in a pan, add onions and cumin seeds and saute’ for at least 5 minutes.
Add cooked lentils, boiled vegetables, dried mango powder, tomato, turmeric powder and salt. Boil for a few minutes.
Just before serving, heat ghee in a small pan, add chilli powder and put over lentil mixture. Serve hot.
