Recipe Ingredients
Beckti fish fillet ½ kg
Salt ½ tsp
Black pepper ½ tsp
Mustard powder ½ tsp
Vinegar 2 tbsp
Self raising flour ¾ cup
Egg 1
Soda water to make batter as required
Recipe Method
Marinate fish with salt, pepper and mustard for 30 minutes, whisk flour, egg and soda together in a medium bowl until smooth, cover and refrigerate batter for 1 hour, heat oil in a wok, dip fish in batter, deep fry in hot oil until golden and crisp, serve with chips and tartar sauce
Ingredients for tartar sauce
Mayonnaise ½ cup
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Salt pinch
Jerkins finely chopped 1 tsp
Coriander leaves finely chopped 1 tsp
Dill finely chopped 1 tsp
Method
Mix all together serve with fish.
