Frozen Turtle Pies


Ingredients:
Chocolate cookies (crushed) 1 packet
Unsalted butter (melted and cooled) 3 tbsp
Chocolate ice cream (softened) 1 litre
Toasted walnuts (chopped, divided) 2/3 cup
Caramel syrup as required
Chocolate syrup as required
Coffee ice cream (softened) 1 litre
Cream for garnish
Dark chocolate for garnish

Method:
Mix together crushed chocolate cookies and melted butter until combined. Place 2 to 3 tablespoons of the mixture on the bottom of a glass jar. Pack down firmly using a long wooden spoon. Place 1 scoop of chocolate ice cream on top of the cookie crust. Use the back of a spoon to pack it firmly on top of the crust. Sprinkle chopped toasted walnuts on top. Drizzle with caramel and chocolate syrups. Place a scoop of coffee ice cream on top of the chocolate ice cream and pack well using the back of a spoon. Seal jar tightly and freeze until the ice cream returns to its solid state. Before serving, garnish with cream, remaining toasted walnut and chopped dark chocolate. Drizzle more chocolate or caramel syrup on top and serve immediately

Shepherd ‘s Pie


Ingredients
Beef (Ground) 500gm
Onion (Chopped) 1
Mushroom 1 cup
Ketchup 4 tbsp
Black Pepper (Ground) 1/8 tsp
Peas 1 cup
Carrots 1 cup
Potatoes (Boiled, mashed) 500 gm
Milk 2 ½ cups
Butter ¼ cup

Method
Heat the oven to 200°C.
Cook the beef and onion over medium-high heat until the beef is well browned, stirring often to separate meat.
Add ketchup, black pepper, peas and carrots to the beef and onions, and cook well.
Heat milk and butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat and bring it to a boil.
Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the potatoes. The potatoes will be stiff. Spoon the potatoes over the beef mixture.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the potatoes are lightly browned.

Peanut Butter-Chocolate Banana Cream Pie Recipe


Recipe Ingredients

35NILLA Wafers, finely crushed (about 1 cup)
1/4cup butter, melted
2squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, divided
1/2cup PLANTERS Creamy Peanut Butter
2bananas, cut lengthwise in half, then crosswise into quarters
2pkg. (3.4 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
2cups cold milk
2cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, divided
2Tbsp. PLANTERS Salted Peanuts, coarsely chopped

Recipe Method

HEAT oven to 350ºF.
MIX wafer crumbs and butter until well blended; press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate. Bake 5 to 8 min. or until golden brown. Cool completely. Meanwhile, make chocolate curls from 1/2 chocolate square. Refrigerate.
MICROWAVE remaining 1-1/2 chocolate squares and peanut butter in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min.; stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Place bananas in crust; drizzle with melted chocolate.
BEAT pudding mixes and milk in large bowl with whisk 2 min. Stir in 1 cup COOL WHIP. Spread over bananas; top with remaining COOL WHIP.
REFRIGERATE 3 hours. Top with chocolate curls and nuts just before serving.

Recipe Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 cup shortening
1 egg
1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar
5 tablespoons water

Recipe Method

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and sugar. Mix well, then cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal.
In a small bowl, combine egg, vinegar, and 4 tablespoons of water. Whisk together, then add gradually to flour mixture, stirring with a fork. Mix until dough forms a ball. Add one more tablespoon of water if necessary.
Allow dough to rest in refrigerator 10 minutes before rolling out.
