Bread Poha Vegetarian Recipe


Ingredients:

Brown Bread

Bengal Gram (Hard Boil)

Boiled Potatoes

Finely Chopped Onion

Garlic Paste

Crushed Green Chilies

Turmeric Powder

Coriander Powder

Red Chili Powder

Crushed Black Pepper

Finely Chopped Coriander

Olive Oil

Salt

Method:

Take 8-10 bread slices toast it on oven or tawa pan and make it crispy and cut the cubes. Take a cooking pan add 1-2 tbsp of olive oil, add 1 finely chopped onion add 1 tbsp of garlic paste and fry. Now add ½ cup of hard boiled Bengal gram mix it well till its brown then add 1 tbsp of turmeric powder , 2-3 finely chopped green chilies, 2 tbsp of red chili powder, ½ tsp of coriander powder and ½ tsp of crushed black pepper, mix it well and roasted. Now add 4 boiled potatoes and add as required salt mix it. Now add bread cubes mix it well take it out in a serving dish and garnish with ½ bunch of coriander and serve it.

Corn Poha Recipes


Ingredients:


Corn 1/2 cup
Thick beaten rice (poha) 1-1/2 cups
Oil 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Finely chopped onions 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Sugar 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Green chilli paste 1 tsp
Lemon juice 2 tsp
Finely chopped coriander 2 tbsp
Milk 2 tbsp

For The Topping:
Finely chopped tomatoes 1/4 cup
Finely chopped onions 1/4 cup
Sev 1/4 cup
Lemon wedge to serve with

Method:


Clean, wash and drain the beaten rice and keep aside. Heat oil and add the mustard seeds. When the seeds crackle, add the onions and sauté till they turn translucent. Add the corn and sauté. Add the beaten rice, mix well and cook stirring continuously. Add the turmeric powder, sugar, salt, green chilli paste, lemon juice and coriander, mix well and add the milk and mix well. Serve hot topped with tomatoes, onions, sev and a lemon wedge.

Poha Chivda Recipe


Recipe Ingredients

2 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Mustard seeds
1 tbsp Cumin seeds
pinch of hing
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
2 tbsp Raw peanuts
2 tbsp Daliya
10 to 15 Curry Leaves
3 to 4 Green Chillies
1 tsp powdered Sugar
1 tbsp Cashew nus
3 cups Thin Poha

Recipe Method
Method:
1) Take 2 tsp oil in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 1 minute.
2) Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, green chillies and microwave for 2 minutes.
3) Add turmeric powder, hing, cashew nuts, peanuts, mix well and microwave for 1 minute.
4) Add daliya and again cook for 1 minute.
5) Add poha, mix well and microwave for 3 minutes stiring after every one minute.
6) Add salt and powdered sugar, mix well. Poha Chivda is ready!
