Maharani Daal Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

1 cup Black Gram (Split)
1/4 cup 0il
1 tsp Chilly powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp All spice
1 tbsp Butter
1 tsp Cumin powder
1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
1 tsp Garlic chopped
to taste Salt
4 tbsps Fresh cream
2 tbsps Coriander leaves
2 tbsps Green chillies chopped

Recipe Method

Wash lentil and soak for 30mins.
In a pan add lentil,water, ginger garlic paste, salt and spices. Bring to a boil and lower the heat.Simmer until tender 30-45 min
Add in lemon juice and fresh cream.Stir well
In a pan heat oil and butter and fry onions till light golden. Add cumin seeds with garlic cook for 3mins
Pour over lentil.
Sprinkle with finely chopped coriander leaves and green chilies.
Serve hot
