Baby Spinach Omelet Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

2 eggs
1 cup torn baby spinach leaves
1 1/2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Method

In a bowl, beat the eggs, and stir in the baby spinach and Parmesan cheese. Season with onion powder, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
In a small skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat, cook the egg mixture about 3 minutes, until partially set. Flip with a spatula, and continue cooking 2 to 3 minutes. Reduce heat to low, and continue cooking 2 to 3 minutes, or to desired doneness.


Mexican Omelet Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

2 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons crema or sour cream
pinch of salt
pinch of cumin
pinch of garlic powder
1/4 cup shredded jack cheese
1/8 cup fresh salsa, drained of juices

Recipe Method

Beat eggs, crema, salt, cumin and garlic powder together.
Heat oil or lard in a medium round frying pan over medium heat. Pour in egg mixture and turn heat to lowest setting. Let egg cook until almost set. If egg browns, the pan is too hot. Next, flip omelet over*.
Place cheese and salsa on half of the omelet. Fold top over to help melt the cheese. Cover with a lid or a piece of foil for about 3 minutes to finish melting cheese. Remove from pan and serve immediately.
*Slide out of pan onto plate and then place pan upside down on top of plate. Turn pan and plate over so omelet falls back into pan to cook the other side.


Cheese Omelet Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

Egg 1
Creamy cheddar cheese (one which is available in jar) 1-2 tbsp
Butter 1, 1/2 tbsp
Honey 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Spring onions if desired
Tomatoes if desired

Recipe Method

Beat the egg with a pinch of salt.
Heat a pan on medium heat.
Put half of the butter in it and let it heat up.
Spread the egg in the pan and fry it from both the sides
When done remove it and spread the cheese on it and then wrap it.
Now serve the egg with honey butter and bread.


Pakistani Omelet Recipe

Eggs 3
Tomato 1
Green chili 1
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Salt (a pinch)
Red chili pd 1/2 tsp
Ginger/garlic 1/2 tsp. each
Oil 2 tbsp

Recipe Method
Chop tomatoes, onion, green chilies, coriander leaves.
Put in a bowl and add in eggs, seasonings.
Whisk it well.
Pour oil in a pan, heat it, adds the mixture cook till set and it gets light golden.
Fold, decorate as shown in picture and serve.


Spinach Tomato Omelet Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

1 package (6 oz.) fresh spinach
3 cups cholesterol-free egg substitute
2 plum tomatoes, diced (about 3/4 cup)
1 cup (4 oz.) finely shredded reduced-fat extra-sharp Cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. black pepper (optional)

Recipe Method

To prepare tomato and cheese omelet recipe wash the spinach. Put the rinsed but still moist spinach leaves into a microwave safe bowl. Put plastic wrap on the bowl to cover. Put into the microwave on high speed for about 3 minutes.
When the spinach wilts drain it and put at a side.
Grease an 8 inch non-stick skillet with cooking spray. Place on medium heat and put ¾ cup of egg substitute in it. Cook until the omelet is set. Slightly lift the edge so that the uncooked egg flows under it and gets cooked.
To further make the spinach, tomato and cheese omelet recipe place ¼ portion of spinach, ¼ of tomatoes onto the half of omelet. Top with 2 tbsp cheese and pepper. Fold the other half of omelet over the filling.
Make two more omelets from the remaining spicy spinach and tomato omelette recipe mixture.


Spanish Omelet Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

Egg white 3
Chicken 250 gram
Olive slices 4 tbsp
Mozzarella cheese as required
Lemon 2
Red chili ½ tsp
Oregano ½ tsp
Thyme ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
For garnish:
Fresh coriander as required
Green chili 1-2
Mint leaves a few

Recipe Method

Whisk egg white till it becomes foam.
Add red chili, thyme, and oregano, salt and mix well.
Marinate chicken with salt and lemon juice and then stir fry.
Heat oil in a pan and pour the egg mixture and keep the flame low.
Spread olives, chicken and lemon on the top when you spread the egg mixture in pan to cook.
Cook from both sides and cook in small portions to make sure, omelet remains in the round shape and do not tear.
Takeout in a plate, sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese on the top and put it in the oven for 2 minutes on full heat in a preheated oven.
Garnish with coriander, mint and green chili.
Serve hot and enjoy.
