Egg Chaat


Ingredients:

Boiled eggs 3
Tomato ketchup 1 tbsp
Chili sauce 1 tsp
Tamarind pulp 3 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tsp
Roasted cumin 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Green chilly 1
chopped spring onion 1
Boondi 2-3 tbsp

Garam masala powder 1 tsp

Method:

In a bowl, mix tomato ketchup, chili sauce, tamarind pulp, lemon juice, roasted cumin, green chili and salt. In a plate, cut the boiled egg into two and spread the chutney over the boiled egg.
Sprinkle some chopped spring onion, garam masala, boondi over the eggs and serve immediately.

Ingredients:
Chickpeas (Boiled) 250 grams Potatoes (Boiled) 1 cup Yogurt (Whipped) 250 grams Finely Chopped Onion 2 Finely Chopped Tomatoes 2 Finely Chopped Green Chilies 3- Finely Chopped Fresh Coriander ½ bunch Lemon Juice 4-5 tbsp Papri 4-5 Roll Patti’s as required Chaat Masala as required Oil For frying Salt to taste.
Method:
Take a cooking pan heat some oil set the roll wraps sheets into the strainer press the roll wraps and deep fry the roll to make a bowl shape. Then take a mixing bowl add 2 cup of chick peas and a pinch of salt mix it well now add 3-4 chopped green chilies,1/2 bunch of coriander,1 cup of potatoes,4-5 tbsp of lemon juice now add 2 chopped onion and tomatoes mix it well. Now add the beated yogurt and crushed 4-5 papri’s pour the mixture into the fried bowl. At last sprinkle the chaat masala and serve it.

NGREDIENTS:

Fruit Cocktail 1 tin Apples Cubes 2 Finely Chopped Bananas 2 Peach 1 tin Sugar 1 bowl Water ½ bowl Fresh Cream 2 packet Peeled and finely chopped Shelled Walnuts 1 bowl.

METHOD:

Make syrup by mixing 1 bowl sugar and ½ bowl water and once it cools down then add 1 tin fruit cocktail, 2 apple cubes, 2 finely chopped bananas and 1 tin peach and mix it. Then keep it in the fridge. At the time of serving, add 2 packet beated fresh cream and 1 bowl peeled shelled walnuts. Delicious fruit chat is ready.


Grilled Corn Chaat Recipe


Recipe Ingredients

Fresh Corn 1
Onion 1 Small
Tomato 1 Small
Red Chile Powder 1/4 tsp
Salt to Taste
Recipe Method

Wash and finely chop the onion.
Wash and finely chop the tomato.
In a mixing bowl, mix together with chopped tomato, onion, red chili powder and salt.

Remove the husk and clean the corn.
Hold the handle and place it on a grill.
Alternatively, place the corn on a stove top with direct flame.
Keep turning the corn until all the kernels change color and are cooked.
It makes a crackling noise while its roasting.
Once done, remove the corn onto a plate.
Place the corn vertically on the plate and use the knife to separate the corn kernels.
Add the grilled corn to the mixing bowl and stir.
Serve grilled corn chaat as a snack.
Notes: Make sure to cook the corn on medium – low flame.

Suggestions: Roasting the corn on charcoal grill tastes better than one on the gas grill.
Variations: Add a tsp of lemon juice or grated raw mango to the corn chaat.

Black Chana Sweet Potato Chaat

Ingredients: Black chana (soaked and boiled) 1 cup Sweet potato (boiled and chopped) 1 cup Chaat masala a pinch Lemon juice as required For garnishing: Coriander leaves.Method: In a bowl, take boiled chana, sweet potato. Add lemon juice, a pinch of chaat masala and mix it well. Garnish with coriander leaves.

Cream 2 cups

Boiled chickpeas 1 cup

Chopped mango 1 cup

Chopped peach 1

Boiled potato 1

Caster sugar 3 tbsp

Chaat masala 1 tsp

Salt a pinch

Sev (to garnish) ¼ cup

Lemon juice of 1 lemon

Black pepper ½ tsp
Method:
Combine all fruits in a serving bowl. Sprinkle lemon juice on it. Mix in potato and chickpeas. Add in the cream and chaat masala, sugar, salt and black pepper and mix well and then serve chilled with sev garnished on top

INGREDIENTS

Banana (sliced) 6

Mangoes (chopped) 2

Apples (peeled and chopped) 3

Pineapple (finely cubed) 1 tin

Chiku (peeled and chopped) 4

Grapes 1 cup

Chick Peas (boiled) 1 cup

Caster Sugar 4 tbsp

Salt ½ tsp

Chat Masala 1 tsp

Mayonnaise 4 tbsp

Fresh Cream 1 ½ cup

Tamarind Chatni 3 to 4 tbsp

METHOD

Chop fruits put in a bowl, mix with boiled chick peas, tamarind chatni, chat masala. In another bowl beat cream slightly with mayonnaise and mix with fruit and chick peas, serve chilled.

INGREDIENTS FOR CHATNI

Tamarind Pulp ½ cup

Sugar 2 tbsp

Chili Powder ½ tsp

Salt ½ tsp

Roasted and Crushed Cumin ½ tsp

METHOD

Cook altogether.

Aloo Chaat


Ingredients:

Potatoes (peeled and diced) 3 Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp Chaat masala 1 tsp Tamarind chutney Mint chutney Chopped coriander leaves To Garnish: (optional) Chopped onion Tomato julienned Fresh pomegranate seeds Oil for frying.

Method:

Heat oil in a wok and deep fry potatoes, till golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper. In a bowl, place the fried potatoes, and toss with red chilli powder, cumin powder, chaat masala. Add mint chutney, tamarind chutney according to taste and toss to coat evenly. Serve, with toothpicks, in individual bowls, garnished with coriander leaves. You can also garnish the aloo chaat with chopped onion, tomato julienne or pomegranate seeds.

Ingredients

Boiled chic piece 1 ½ cup
Baked beans 1 tin
Red kidney beans 1 tin
Onion 1 cup chopped
Green chilies chopped 4
Tomato 1 cut into cubes, seeds removed
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Curry leaves 15
Salt 1 tsp
Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
Coriander seeds roasted and grinded 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds roasted and grinded 1 tsp
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Chat masala 1 tsp
Khatai powder 1 tsp
Potatoes 1 large cubed and boiled
Kahatti methi chatni ¾ cup

Method

Heat oil add curry leaves and chopped onion, stir for two minutes, add all the above seasonings with beans, boiled chic piece, boiled potatoes, mix all well add imli chatni, serve garnished with chopped greens and tomatoes.
