Chum Chum Recipe



Chum Chum is really healthy traditional cooking recipe. It is very easy to prepare and gives you unique taste of Desserts Recipes

Ingredients

2 kg Milk
1/2 kg Sugar
1 tbsp Self raising flour
1 tsp Baking powder
5 Soap nuts
1 tbsp Tartary
1/2 cup Almonds Pistachios chopped
few drops Kewra Essence
as required Baking powder.

Chum Chum Method / Tarika:

Break the soap nuts and remove the seeds. Boil the shell in water until it turns soft.

To make the syrup

In a saucepan heat the water along with the sugar until thick golden strands are formed
To make the dough

Pour the milk in a saucepan. Heat on a low flame. Now add the tartary so that the milk curdles.

Remove the cheese that has been formed. Add baking powder, corn flour and self raising flour. Mix the contents with your hand then beat together until all the ingredients have been thoroughly mixed.

Divide the mixture into two halves. Add the pink colour to one set and shape the mixture into oval balls.

Add the chum chum to the sugar syrup along wit the soap nut water, kewra. Cook the mixture on a low flame. until the chum chum float on top. Dish out and serve.

Recipe Ingredients:

Milk powder 2 cups Baking powder 2 tsp Eggs 2 Ghee melted 2 tbsp Flour 1 tsp leveled Ingredients for sugar syrup Sugar 2 cup Water 3 cups Green cardamom 4 Orange color 2 drops.

Recipe Method: In a bowl mix together milk powder, baking powder and flour, add in melted ghee and mix well, add to it eggs and knead well to form into a dough, if required add 1 or 2 tsp milk, make into tiny balls, heat ghee in a wok and deep fry balls on low flame, continuously stirring with a spoon.

Method for sugar syrup:In a pan take water, sugar, green cardamom add orange color and cook till sugar dissolves for about 10 minutes, add your fried jamuns in the sugar syrup . Cover and cook for 10 min on very low flame.

Jalebi Recipe by Zubaida Tariq



Ingredients

Flour750 gm
Soda bi carbonate3 gm
Cream of tartar 2 gm
Rung kaat1 pinch
Yellow coloras required
Clarified butter1 ½ kg
For Sugar Syrup:
Water½ kg
Sugar1 ½ kg
Khewra few drops

Method

Mix water with ½ kg flour and keep it for 2 days. Now in the remaining flour add in soda bi carbonate, 2 gm cream of tartar and a pinch of Rung kaat. Beat it nicely. Add some water if required.
Put all the mixture in the cloth and fry it in the pan. To make the sugar syrup, take 1 ½ kg sugar and ½ kg water in the pan and add few drops of khewra essence. In the end, add the fried jalebis in the sugar syrup and serve hot.

Jaleebi by Chef Gulzar



Ingredients
All Purpose Flour ½ kg
Sugar 1 kg
Orange Food Color 1 pinch
Yeast 1 tbsp
Saffron few flakes
Screw Pine Essence few drops
Milk as required
Silver Leaves as required
Oil as required
Method
For sugar syrup: Take a cooking pan add water and add 1 kg of sugar mix it well add few drops of screw pine essence mix it well mow sugar syrup is ready. For sugar syrup: Take a ½ tsp of sugar and 1 tbsp of yeast mix it well and leave it for 15 minutes, when the yeast is raisedadd ½ kg of all purpose flours, 1 pinch of yellow food colour, few drops of saffron and add as required milk make a mixture and leave it for 2 hours and when the mixture is ready beat it. Take a cooking pan heat the oil now take a mixture in a piping bag and round and round fry take it out in serving platter dip into sugar syrup and garnish with silver leave and serve it.

Kachay pairay


Ingredients

Fresh paneer 250 gm
Khoya 250 gm
Dry milk 0 cup
Kewra essence few drops
Condense milk as required

Method:
In a bowl add 250 gm khoya with 250 gm paneer to mix with hand. Then add as required condense milk and few drops of kewra essence to mix. Then make balls from mixture and coat with 1 cup dry milk and refrigerate it. Dish it out and serve.

Burfi Tukra

Ingredients:
Bread Slices Toasted (cut into cubes) 6
Ghee2 tbsp
Milk 1 liter
Sugar 1/2 cup
Cardamom Powder 1/4 tsp
Pistachio 1 tbsp
Burfi 250 gm

Method:
Heat the milk and sugar stirring continuously.
Put 1 tsp ghee to prevent the milk from flowing over.
Reduce the milk to 1/2 qty and burfi. Add pista and cardamom powder.
Cool the milk. Add toasted bread
Dip in milk for 2 minutes.
Remove and put in the milk cup.

Recipe Ingredients

3 large ripe bananas
3 cups traditional rolled oats
1/4 cup finely chopped dried dates
1/4 cup finely chopped dried apricots
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Recipe Method

Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Grease a 16cm x 25.5cm (base) slice pan. Line with baking paper, extending paper 2cm above edges of pan.
Mash banana until smooth. Add oats, dates, apricots, almonds, cinnamon and vanilla. Stir until well combined. Spoon into prepared pan. Using the back of a spoon, press evenly into pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden. Cool completely. Cut into small bars. Serve.
